Brief

The project is to develop a interactive webpage show casing concept art as a piece promotional information for a upcoming video game narrative. The Website will be of a map of the existing galaxy in which the project is set, divided into territories for major playable factions. On clicking on a territory concept art for that faction will play in a slide show consisting of environments such as central planets, staging areas and battlegrounds. Followed by faction specific space ships reflecting each factions aesthetic. The number of ships is related to class and will also feature detailed load out variation. Each faction will feature the following.
  • Fighter
  • Bomber
  • Corvette
  • Frigate
  • Cruiser
  • Battlecruiser
  • Dreadnought/Flagship
The Narrative:

300-700 years in the future Humanity has colonized most of the known galaxy. In the beginning to colonized world strategically valuable yet hostile genetic engineering and cybernetics were used to essentially breed colonists and workers for these worlds to provide of the now resource deprived Sol system as the pinnacle of a galactic empire. As time past these peoples founded their own nations and identified under new races as genetic offshoots of the human race, with their new identities came the strive for independence. from Earth as these factions developed their own arsenals they were able to break free although many were and still subjugated under the rule of the Sol Confederacy (Earth/Sol system empire). Presently the major factions present are the Sol Confederacy, The Shakti Principality, The Athenian hierarchy, The Ixion Federation , The Zodiac Court and the Aquila Dominion.
